Four people arrested in connection with Barrow Tesco assault

FOUR people have been arrested following an assault on a young couple in a supermarket car park.
A 21 year-old-woman from Ulverston and a 17-year-old girl from Barrow have both been arrested on suspicion of assault along with two Barrow men, aged 18 and 24, in connection with an assault in car park of Tesco Extra, in Hindpool Road, Barrow, in the early hours of December 13.
The two men and two women have been interviewed and released on bail until January 18.
Anyone with information about the attack or who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Barrow police on 101 or phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
