The not-for-profit agency announced it was due to close in August 2012.

After serving the Furness business community for 21 years, having created more than 10,000 jobs and safeguarded thousands more, this cannot be allowed to happen.

The Evening Mail is launching a Fighting for Furness campaign and we are calling on you, members of the public and business community, to play your part in saving Furness Enterprise.

Please sign the e-petition, launched by us, to save Furness Enterprise.

In addition to the e-petition we will also be sending letters of support.
