Fibreglass elephant stolen from Ulverston garden

POLICE are searching for an Ulverston elephant thief.

A one foot tall, fibreglass elephant was snatched from the front garden of an Ulverston home in the early hours of this morning.

Police are appealing for information as to the garden ornaments whereabouts.

A Cumbria police spokesman said a young man was seen climbing in to the garden, in Tyson Square, before making off with the ornament in the Hill Fall direction.

Anyone with information should contact Cumbria police on 101.
