Cyclist injured in Cumbria crash

A cyclist was injured in a crash in Cumbria.
The man was believed to have sustained multiple fractures in a cycle crash on Wrynose Pass, which is between the Duddon Valley and Little Langdale . The incident happened today (Sunday) at around 3.38pm.
The emergency services attended, including air and land ambulances, Langdale Ambleside Mountain Rescue, and police.
Cumbria police said it was a one vehicle incident and that the man had been airlifted to The Royal Preston Hospital.
The road had been closed for the investigation.
