Cumbria police investigate Barrow girl approach

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a young girl was reportedly approached in suspicious circumstances in Ormsgill yesterday.
The girl was on her way to St Pius School in Schneider Road between 8.30am and 9am when the incident occurred near Chester Place.
It has been reported that she was engaged by a women believed to be in her 40s and wearing a blue jacket, with fur on the cuffs, and leather boots.
The girl started her journey from the top of Mill Bank before cutting through the alleyways around Chester Place.
If anybody witnessed an interaction between these two people, they are urged to contact Barrow police on 101.

Every parents nightmare,gone have the days when children could roam or play freely as recent events show.
Yet another event where no action or very little sentencing other than a slapped wrist would suffice in the eyes of our libertarian EU justice system if the perpetrater was ever caught.
