Cumbria motorist in roadside attack

A MOTORIST was punched in the face in Cumbria in a roadside attack.

Police say a driver was punched in the face while parked in his silver Volkswagen Polo near the Daffodil Hotel, in Ambleside.
The attack took place at around 7.30pm on Wednesday, when a man approached the car and punched the man in the face.
Anyone with information, or who may have witnessed the attack, is asked to contact Cumbria police on 101 or phone Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
