Child struck by car in Barrow

AN 11-year-old boy escaped serious injury after being struck by a car in Barrow.
The boy was hit about 3.10pm on Thursday in Park Drive.
Ambulance officers attended the scene and found the victim conscious, breathing and with no obvious injuries.
Police were also called out.
