A ROAD has been cleared following an accident where a car collided with a building.
The one-vehicle collision happened on the A595 in Grizebeck just before 4.30pm.
Police and ambulance teams attended the scene, as did two fire engines.
A spokeswoman for Cumbria Fire and Rescue said one was sent from Broughton and one from Ulverston after being called by the ambulance service at 4.33pm.
Firefighters helped release the female driver from the car.
A police spokesman said she suffered no more than minor injuries.
The road was closed and traffic was moving slowly between Buckhorn Lane and the A5092 until around 6.30pm.
The disruption has now cleared.
