A WOMAN is calling for help identifying a large spider caught in her house.
Tammy Thomson snared the hairy legged arachnid at her home.
She is keen to identify what sort of spider it is, following reports of a spread of false widow spiders - Steatoda nobilis in Latin.
They are thought they are now spreading further across the country due to climate change and can deliver nasty bites.
If you can help identify this spider, please add a comment below.

Have your say
The markings suggest a false widow, though it seems too large for that. More likely it is a Cardinal Spider(tegenaria parietina) - the largest house spider in the UK, which can have a leg span of 12cm ?
I come back to read updates on this and find out what it is, but then wanted to know where is it NOW ?? on the loose to find its other victim i do hope not
