Apprenticeships hit five year high for BAE Systems Barrow’s shipyard bosses

THE highest number of apprentices in five years will be taken on by the owners of Barrow’s shipyard.

COMMITMENT BAE’s group managing director – programmes and support, Nigel Whitehead, has welcomed the company’s announcement of its highest apprentice intake since 2008.
