Today was a great, and to some, unexpected day for Ulverston and the surrounding areas, as the actual Prime Minister himself turned up in Ulverston, discussing the great news that GlaxoSmithKline had been selected for lots of investment and so should soon be creating hundreds of local jobs.

Anyone who has ever had a practical test will have felt my pain on Tuesday, as I went for my first ever driving test.
