Barrow robbery probe

POLICE are investigating an alleged robbery that occurred in Barrow towards the end of last week.
Officers received reports that at around 11.30am on Thursday, in Egerton Court, a man from Barrow was assaulted in his home and had items, including cash, stolen from him.
Two men, who are described as wearing dark clothing, entered his home after knocking on his door. The victim reported being threatened by the men, however he did not suffer any injuries during the incident.
Police are investigating and are appealing for information from anyone who noticed anyone acting suspiciously in the area or who was seen running away from the area around this time.
