Barrow police hunt couple who threatened take-away staff with violence

BARROW police are hunting a man and woman who threatened take-away staff with violence.

It happened about 7pm yesterday at the Antalya, Duke Street.

Officers have released a description of the pair they want to quiz in relation to the incident.

The male is described as white with a shaven head. He has a stocky build and is aged about 45. He was wearing a blue T-shirt and grey tracksuit bottoms and is about 5ft 8in in height.

The woman was also white with long dark hair, slim and about 5ft 6in tall. She was wearing a blue denim jacket and blue jeans with a white top.

Police say the pair got into an argument with staff and both threatened them with violence.
