Barrow Kill One club set to close

THERE is virtually no hope a Barrow working men’s club will be saved from closure, a committee member has said.
Cor blimey !!!! Vulture or what?? It hasn't closed and hopefully it wont, lets try and support The Kill One and get it back on an even keel. Far too many traditional pubs and clubs are closing, it's so sad to see. Good luck Kill One I hope you get through this.
Hi guys, we are undergoing changes at the Engineers and would like take time to say we are sorry to see another long standing club potentially close.
I would also like to offer our clubs facilities to your members as we are just around the corner and share common interests. We are forming a new committee so it would always be possible for some of your members to join ours to steer the Engineers through into 2013. We are discussing some new ideas to take through with us and are actively seeking new members to join our expanding social and sports club. If anyone would like any further information or like to see what we have to offer, please feel free to pop in and see us. We have loads to offer our customers old and new alike.Best wishesMark Naunton

Have your say
Bit disingenuous of you that Jan. would you rather other clubs just sat back and let the kill one close without offering a service? The engineers club has been very close to closing as well don't forget. It's a sad fact that not all the clubs will survive and the last thing the town needs is for the few surviving clubs to not welcome those that have been displaced from their club.
If the kill one does close, and I hope it doesn't, the engineers is available for the lads and lasses. What would you rather was said? Don't come to the engineers because your not wanted?
