Barrow Christmas Market generator stolen by thieves

POLICE are investigating the theft of a generator at the Barrow Christmas Markets in the town centre valued at £1,000 on Sunday morning.

The generator, which was located at the junction of Cavendish Street and Dalton Road, was stolen sometime between 8am and 10am.

Police believe more than one person would have been required to move the generator due to its substantial weight.

Anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in the area is urged to contact Barrow police on 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

I can get a record player, and a generator. Generate the music that makes you feel better.
