Barrow cat 'a danger' to posties

A BARROW pet cat stands accused of posing a danger to posties – prompting a full risk assessment from the Royal Mail.

Have your say

Dave never had my mail delivered at 0500. Thought you sorted first then delivered. If your job is too hazardous why don't you change it??

Fair enough "postie" theres my name! unlike yours... Stop being so pathetic, you're out numbered on here son. I totally agree with Mr T on this subject too. Like i've said before it's Cat, hardly a crime is it??? I think your making yourself look rather stupid! it's quite pathetic to be honest with you.

Yes Wally I am a postman, fortunately Wally not the postman affected in this story,so you see Wally your attempt at humour missed by a country mile......Wally.RE the the comment by Mr T,we are in no position to make claims on issues like these, that's why we have to highlight any dangers beforehand,so another uninformed fool making a comment on something they have absolutely no knowledge of

Raaaaaaaaauuurrr!!
"Oh that Cat made me feel threatened whilst doing my postal delivery work...I think i can get a nice big claim out of this"

After writing a stupid comment like that,I'd want to be anon as well. The post is delivered at a time decided by Royal Mail, not the postman/postwoman.Lets see how you'd like to be walking around Barrow at 5am with all its well advertised hazards, drunks, slippery paths etc.You obviously have no knowledge or experience at all in this forum topic so perhaps it's for the best you keep quiet? Or at the least put your real name!

It's a cat.. not a tiger! Get a grip postie! Since when did you put your whole hand in the letterbox anyway? Maybe if you didn't deliver the post so late and posted it early like the Royal Mail used to then biscuit might still be asleep!!! Now, get a life!

Wally by name.......

Postie, your offended by some of the comments? We are offended you want simpathy for somebody not doing there jobs properly!Every day people put there lives on the line for Us,the public, the police, nurses, fire personel, armed forces, ect ect? Like you pointed out," No postie would put there fingers through the a letterbox like that". If you dont want to do the jobs your paid for, there are Millions out there that would find it a privelige to have such a job? This has nothing to do with Personal Safety, this is trying to get out of doing a public service, less excuses please,a fair days work for a fair days pay, this is no way to run a business & its not good value for those that have to pay for a stamp either?
