Appeal for witnesses as vandals target Barrow cemetery

VANDALS have damaged a headstone in a Barrow cemetery prompting an appeal for witnesses.

The incident occurred between Monday December 16 and Saturday December 21 at Barrow Cemetery, Devonshire Road.

Barrow Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or anyone with any information to call 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Have your say

once again vandals desicrate a cemetery,a slapped wrist policy will suffice if the lout or louts are ever caught.
They bring shame to their parents, but what can be done about it,nothing!
We now abide in the soft unerbelly of European Justice.
Parents can no longer disipline a child for any wrong doing, and the courts hands are tied.
We are all as guilty as the morons for letting our country slide into the hands of the EU Libertarians.
If we want pride back in our lives,we have to do a big U Turn back to civility, and that means getting out of the EU.
