Heartfelt tributes have been paid to a late Millom teenager who would have received her A-level results today.
Skye Mitchell, 18, died following a collision on the A595 near to Bootle on July 14.
Millom School has today revealed that Skye achieved Bs in English literature, geography and media in her A-levels.
She would have been "immensely proud" of her results, a school spokesman said.
They said: "Skye had received an unconditional offer from the University of Salford to study media and journalism, which is testimony to not only her hard work throughout her time at school but also the passion that she showed for creative subjects and her enthusiasm for following this career path.
"We will remember Skye as a dedicated and committed student and we are thankful for her vast contribution to the school community. She will be missed by us all."
Skye, along with her friend Caitlin Huddlestone, also 18, from Millom, died following the collision.
News of the deaths has rocked communities across the area over the past month.
