Three's a Crowd

EastEnders (BBC1)

Linda returns to the Square and instead of a welcome home party she gets a special 'three-hander' episode featuring her, Mick and Whitney.

Before that though, the prodigal landlady has a run-in with Shirley, who makes it clear just how much Mick has needed her over the past few months. Linda tells Mick that from now on, there'll be no more secrets between them, but is shocked when he makes a further confession.

When Linda realises that he's talking about Whitney, it leads to a furious row. Will Linda be packing her bags again, or is someone else going to be forced to leave the Vic?

Elsewhere, Steven tries to reassure Abi that he's not ignoring her, he's just working on a really long con that will end in them being together. Honest. She's clearly not convinced though as she tries to stir up trouble by telling Cora about Lauren's engagement.

Max continues to wheedle information out of Carmel, even going so far as to kiss her in public - although he draws the line at joining her for a cosy family dinner.

Fright Night

Emmerdale (ITV)

There's a 'Zombie Run' at Home Farm this week, but some people might think the place is already scary enough, especially now that Robert seems to be making plans to become lord of the manor. When he discovers that Lawrence has discharged himself, Robert plots to put him back in hospital by crushing up sleeping pills and tipping them into a bottle of Armagnac.

So, when a dazed and confused Lawrence wakes up after a medicinal glass of brandy to discover his property is overrun with the undead, he gets in his car to investigate, with terrifying consequences for Belle, Lachlan and Victoria...

There's also danger at the Zombie Run for Pete as an emotional Priya makes a pass at him, unaware Sarah is nearby.

Laurel tries to turn Emma's new-found religion to her advantage as she plays on the nurse's conscience - and it seems to be working when Emma makes an implicating remark, which Ross overhears.

Jacob is in trouble with the law after Josh helps himself to Pollard's shotgun, Charity worries Megan is softening towards Frank, and Rhona realises she may not be fully recovered after all.

Rosie's Ladder to Success

Coronation Street (ITV)

Is there a less likely window cleaner in the world than Rosie Webster?

Probably not, so it should come as no surprise when she announces she hates the job, especially its overalls, and wants to find something new. Rosie thinks being Todd and Adam's receptionist at their new office would be a perfect new position, but so does Gail, who would certainly add an air of respectability to the business. However, Rosie soon finds a way to prove her worth.

Amy overhears Liz telling Steve that if he's serious about marrying Leanne, he should put a ring on it. She can't wait to tell Simon all about it, and eventually, the youngsters, plus Peter, Toyah, Eva and Tracy, witness Steve popping the question again, this time with a little help from Oliver and a list of reasons why the union would work - but will she say yes?

Meanwhile, Michelle goes missing and Robert is so sure that Rich is responsible, he gives him a beating - and then the police come calling...

Folly a Deux

Hollyoaks (Channel 4)

Hunter surprises Neeta in the Folly, which seems appropriate as their whole relationship is looking like one big folly on her part.

They being to realise just how dangerous their liaison really is when their condom splits, prompting Neeta to take the morning pill. A loved-up Hunter suggests the answer is for them to run away to Ibiza together, but Neeta can't just pack up and leave, especially as she has to join the Nightingales (minus a hurt Marnie) to mark Nathan's birthday. And just to make the situation more stressful, Mac decides to talk to her about starting a family...

Elsewhere, Cindy and Holly fear that Dirk has taken the law into his own hands when they find Armstrong's badge in the bin.

Zack struggles to cope with Daniel's crying, while Tegan and Leela discover the identity of Courtney's baby's father.

Maxine's dinner party descends into chaos, which isn't that surprising with Adam, Darcy, Jesse, Grace and Tracey all gathered around the table, while Darren tries to make amends with Nancy and the kids.

Let's Drink To It

Home and Away (C5)

Is there any argument that can't be resolved over a beer? Not in Summer Bay, it seems.

So, after a flare-up between Justin and Ben Astoni, they sort things out with a pint or two. Perhaps they will become the best of friends because Ben's family look set for a longer stay when Maggie falls in love with the Farm House, which just so happens to be for sale.

Justin is clearly in a combative mood because later, Scarlett takes umbrage at him delving into her past, prompting him to make an accusation for which he has no evidence. Can he persuade her he isn't really a bad guy, and make her reconsider her decision to leave town?

An aimless and depressed Roo makes a surprising return, and it's up to Marilyn and Irene to provide her with some focus.

Hunter and Olivia get a visit from the police, Mick's application for a paternity test is turned down, and Kat's relationship with Hunter could be over after she admits she isn't ready for motherhood.

Terese's Love Triangle

Neighbours (C5)

If you were battling a life-threatening illness, who would you turn to?

Probably not Gary Canning or Paul Robinson, and yet the pair of them end up arguing over Terese's new treatment - what's more, Gary is devastated that Paul knew about her cancer diagnosis before he did. Maybe he should take a long, hard look at himself and work out why that is. He considers ending their relationship, but Piper and Xanthe set out to reunite the pair.

Steph has a hallucination that makes her think her mental health problems are returning. She confides in Mark, who advises her to tell Jack about her issues - a move that may derail her new romance.

Mark, meanwhile, catches Elly's eye, and she can't resist flirting with him. Her confidence takes a knock during an important pitch to the education department, but Mark's attentions soon put the smile back on her face.

Karl and Susan return from Thailand, and it soon becomes clear that all is not well in the Kennedy household.
