RADIO station, The Bay has confirmed it is behind the launch of a new lifestyle magazine. Bay Living will be dedicated to Morecambe Bay.
Working with Cumbria Life colleagues, they aim to deliver a vibrant magazine packed with news and features for people living in and around the Bay. Bay Living is launching at the end of May 2017.
Managing director of The Bay, Bill Johnston told us: “Over 24, years our radio station has forged it's own unique identity across north Lancashire and south Cumbria. To overlay our broadcast footprint with a quality lifestyle magazine is a very exciting development. We'll now be able to offer local companies a unique 'sound and vision' marketing solution.”
Bay Living 's mission is to celebrate a growing, confident and very special part of the UK. Publishing director, Richard Eccles, told us: "We’ll celebrate the success stories of Bay people and businesses, and showcase the vibrant towns, villages and communities across the Bay area. Our food and drink, homes and interiors, and arts and events sections will be an essential guide to life in the Bay, plus there will be fashion, shopping, walking, wildlife, motoring, finance and much more."
Staff are on the look out for contributors. Mr Eccles added: "We'll be getting out and about photographing social, business, charity and community events, parties, festivals and shows across the region. We'll be pleased to hear from people who feel they can contribute."
