Party time at Furness Fest
BARROW'S largest ever live music festival, Furness Fest, took place at the weekend. The three-day-long festival at Sinkfall Farm attracted hundreds of peole and featured some of the finest local talent, as well as acts from further afield. MOLLY LYNCH reports
Love Barrow - Love fashion
THESE stunning creations by young artists and designers are in the spotlight.
Fine art, graphic design, animation and fashion are all being exhibited at Barrow Sixth Form College.
The wide ranging collection has been produced by Foundation Art and Design students.
A special preview evening last week included a screening of animation and a fashion show.
Love Barrow - Love race for life
GIRL power was in full force in Barrow on Sunday.
More than 1,800 women and girls came together to beat cancer by taking part in Race for Life 2008.
The Barrow leg of UK’s biggest women-only fundraising event was day filled with fun and emotion.
