Daniel Construction moves onto Penrith's Gilwilly estate

A key support services industry has become the latest business to move into a Penrith business park.

Daniel Construction, which works in the utilities, marine, civil engineering and energy sectors, has moved into a 6,168sq ft unit on the Alliance Business Park on the Gilwilly Industrial Estate. The premises have been let out by leading property developer, Property Alliance Group (PAG).

Established in 1994, Daniel are market leaders in the repair, replacement and maintenance of water and wastewater networks.

Existing Alliance tenant Nilfisk-Advance has also taken a new lease for 10 years after PAG’s £120,000 refurbishment of its offices.

The specialist in industrial cleaning machines has now transferred all services to this northern site, which is now its main office depot.

Ian Hunter, director at Property Alliance Group said: “We are delighted to have secured this deal for Daniel Construction and we are confident that the facilities and location of the Business Park will provide them with a successful depot in the Cumbria area.

“The fact that Nilfisk-Advance has taken a new lease is testament to the scheme’s success and we are thrilled that they have moved their main depot to Penrith, which is great for the Cumbrian area.”
