Enjoy baking with your little – or big! – ones this festive season... and then enjoy the treat later on.
MELTED SNOWMEN BISCUITS
This is a very simple way to entertain your family and create something a little different.
You can either make your own biscuits using a favourite recipe, or for those with limited kitchen space or time you can simply buy a packet of Digestive biscuits or similar and use those as a base.
INGREDIENTS
10-12 large marshmallows
White runny icing
Decorating icing gels or tubes in your choice of colours
Your imagination
Take your cooked or bought biscuits and lay them out.
Spread white runny icing – mix your own using icing sugar and water, or buy it from the supermarket – across each biscuit. Don’t worry about being precise – these are melted snowmen after all!
Place a marshmallow off-centre on the top of each biscuit.
Using your icing pens, draw on buttons, twig arms, eyes and mouths. Change colours and add a scarf or nose. It’s up to you!
