Carlisle comms firm expanding into north east

Good communication is the name of the game for one growing Carlisle company.
Online Systems of Westmoor Road, Kingstown, is doing so well that it is expanding into the north east with an office in Newcastle.
The company has taken on a new recruit to run the operation. Paul Withycombe, 47, has worked in the communications industry for nearly 25 years.
David Newstead, managing director of Online Systems, is delighted with his company’s newest recruit.
“In our 20th anniversary year we are now the region’s largest communications provider operating across Scotland and the north of England,” he said.
“Paul is an excellent communications specialist with great professional and personal knowledge of the north east region and I am confident that he will help us to continue our steady growth.”
Paul said he saw his new job as an exciting challenge.
“In the north east, even in these hard times, there are companies such as Nissan expanding their workforce.
“This, in turn, increases the opportunities for the companies who supply products to them, as well as many other businesses.
“I am a firm believer in that people deal with people and if you create a good first impression then you should be in with a better chance of securing the business.”
Online Systems’ new office is located at Heddon on the Wall, on the western approaches to Newcastle.
Online Systems is looking to increase turnover in the north east region and then employ further staff.
