Barrow road closure on Friday

A BUSY Barrow road is set to close on Friday.
Michaelson Road Bridge will close from 7.45am to 11.30am for 'essential shipping movements' believed to be part of the exit of the latest Astute class submarine.
Traffic will be diverted via North Road until the movement has been completed.
A BAE Systems spokeswoman said: “This closure is necessary to facilitate essential shipping movements.
"We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
