BIRD John (Jack) The family of the late John (Jack) Bird would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all friends and neighbours for the messages of sympathy and support, cards and donations received following their recent sad loss. Special thanks to the staff on Ward 6 at Furness General Hospital, and St Georges and Risedale Residential Homes, who cared for dad in his final weeks. Our sincere and grateful thanks to Father Manny for his kind and comforting ministrations, Chetwynde House for refreshments and Duncan and staff at Little and Caine for all the arrangements.
