Barrow snap up Bury defender Efe Sodje

BARROW AFC have boosted their Conference Premier survival hopes by recruiting experienced centre-back Efe Sodje on a one-month loan deal from League Two side Bury.

The vastly experienced 40-year-old, who has also wracked up Football League experience with the likes of Crewe and Huddersfield Town, will stay at Holker Street until March 16.
He is available for tonight’s Blue Square Bet Premier clash at Southport (7.45pm).

Have your say

Well he should be experienced at 40. Again anyone with any sporting back ground would know how difficult it is to play at this level with the funds avalible. I still think the football will stay up just. The rugby will find it hard as well but the team is a dry conditions team. Doncaster are a big team and the conditions suited them and a few decisions went there way. Good luck to both and the defence should gell soon I hope so. Please get behind both teams as the only lossers are us and Barrow if we go down.
