Column 15 - A long and hard week with Barrow

50040482B000 THIS week has felt like the longest week ever. Last Saturday’s game against Guiseley didn’t start off the way we had planned.

Column 14 - Life as a journo!

50040482B000 THE sickening feeling from last Saturday’s last-gasp equalizing goal has just about gone now, and all the focus is on tomorrow’s massive FA Cup tie against Guiseley.

Column 7 - Let’s build on vital first win

THREE points well and truly earned. Saturday was a tough game for us but we showed true grit and desire to get a much-needed win. (1 comment)

Column 2 - Annoyed at injury

S84264B I’M writing this week’s column from my ‘sick bed’. The last pre-season game against Bolton didn’t exactly finish how I was hoping.

Column 3 - A nice solid start

TWO points from the opening two fixtures of the season is not too bad, plus we have the added bonus of not yet conceding a goal.

Bouncing back

S84264B IT’S amazing how quickly a week goes by. Tomorrow is game day again and another tough test for us in the form of Alfreton.

New community board created

FOUR straight defeats is not a run of results we wanted. But, as I wrote last week, it’s important to look at the season as a whole, not just the last four games.

It’s still been a good season

0281129 THE play-off dream is fading, with two defeats away from home to Wrexham and Cambridge leaving us with an almost impossible task. (2 comments)

The good, the bad & the ugly

IT was good week, bad week for the club, with a great 2-1 win away at Kidderminster on Saturday followed by a 1-0 home loss against bottom-of-the-table Bath City on Tuesday.

Big games abound

IT was a big game last week against Harrogate at home. Financially, we need these cup runs to help us through seasons. Okay, we don’t budget for them, but as you go through a season and injuries occur and new players need to be brought in, costs change.
