Barrow AFC handed tough draw in FA trophy

BARROW AFC were today handed an tough away tie at Blue Square Premier rivals Kettering Town in the first round of the FA Trophy.

The game will take place on Saturday, December 12, at Rockingham Road.

Kettering currently sit third in the table, though they lost 2-0 at home to Kidderminster on Saturday.

The Poppies lost manager Mark Cooper to League One Peterborough United last week. Lee Harper has taken on the role as player/manager.

Barrow, who won the FA Trophy at Wembley in 1990, were beaten 2-1 at Kettering in a league fixture in September.
