Barrow AFC beat Workington in friendly

Workington triallist Zach Clark hit the bar early in the game before Barrow took the lead on 10 minutes through a thunderous Matt Flynn strike.

Both sides had further chances in the first half, which ended with the Bluebirds still one goal ahead.

Barrow then scored twice within four minutes early in the second half, with two unnamed triallists on target.  One of the scorers was believed to be ex-Morecambe man Garry Hunter with the other rumoured to be Burnley starlet Medhi Lazaar.

Barrow: Danny Hurst, Matt Flynn, Gavin Skelton, Triallist, Triallist, Alex-Ray Harvey, Paul Rutherford, Richie Baker, James Owen, Adam Boyes, Triallist.
