These are our standard offer terms and conditions. Please ensure you read the terms and conditions specific to your offer before taking up any Registered Access or subscription.

Registration Terms & Conditions

Creating and using your Registered Access

Your Registered Access will be valid on receipt by Furness Newspapers Ltd of your completed and valid registration. Confirmation of acceptance will be provided to you via your nominated email address. In some circumstances you may automatically obtain Registered Access through a previous registration for another of our digital services.

Each username and password is assigned to a single user. You must ensure that your username and password remain secure and are only shared with the residents of your household i.e. family and friends that live at the same residential address. However you agree that your Registered Access cannot be used with more than seven devices concurrently. You are responsible for all use, activities and charges associated with your username and password. Your username and password are not otherwise transferable.

You must contact Furness Newspapers Ltd if you become aware that unauthorised use of your username and password has occurred. Furness Newspapers Ltd may take appropriate action, such as terminating registration if you are deemed to have shared your password outside your household or have allowed unauthorised use of your username and password.

Your Registered Access may be used for non-commercial purposes only.

Registered Access

Registered Access requires no payment or payment details.

Registered Access provides you with the ability to access all unmetered content of www.nwemail.co.uk when logged in with your Registered Access, if there is metered content, you will also have access to a fixed number of pieces of metered content from www.nwemail.co.uk, within a set recurring time period.

The precise number of pieces of metered content you will have access to with your Registered Access on www.nwemail.co.uk and the recurring time period may vary from time to time at our discretion. You will be advised when you have reached the limit and offered a digital subscription package.

Access from outside of the UK and other access issues

You acknowledge and agree that some of our content may not be viewable or accessible from outside of the UK and that there may be other technology or infrastructure related reasons which limit your ability to access our content at any time.

Cancellation and Termination

Your Registered Access will continue until cancelled by either one of us. If you are not the purchaser of this subscription, Furness Newspapers Ltd may cancel your subscription at any time at your Provider’s request. Your Registered Access may be cancelled at any time by calling Customer Services on 0808 144 8 144 or by emailing cnsubs@cnmedia.co.uk at least 24 hours before the anniversary of your subscription.

Furness Newspapers Ltd reserves the right to cancel a Registered Access without notice or liability for any reason, although in most circumstances you will be given notice as to the reason for cancellation.

Where a cancellation occurs before the end of a prepaid subscription period, you will not be entitled to a refund of the unused part of the subscription.

Cancellation of a Registered Access will automatically cancel any related subscription.

Data downloads

You are responsible for downloads and any costs associated with downloading, including unauthorised access to your account and associated downloads. You acknowledge that anyone that knows your username and password will be able to download and any associated costs or liability are your responsibility.

Subscription Terms & Conditions

You must have a valid and current Registered Access to have a valid subscription.

Digital Subscription Terms and Conditions

A Digital Subscription provides you access via a secure login to view unlimited content on www.nwemail.co.uk as well as access to our Read & Save membership scheme, allowing savings on high street brands. Terms and conditions of which can be found for each offer on www.readandsave.co.uk

Your Digital Subscription will commence immediately on receipt by us of completed subscription details, including payment details. Confirmation of acceptance will be provided to you via your nominated email address.

Newspaper Delivery Subscription or Voucher Booklet Subscription Terms and Conditions

A Newspaper Delivery subscription is for delivery of the newspapers specified in the print offer you have selected to the given delivery address. Delivery is only available where delivery exists for your specified postcode and promotional offers are only available where identified, where delivery is not available but the given address is within the circulation area of the newspaper, you will be offed a voucher booklet where you can exchange a voucher for a copy of the newspaper at any local stockist.

Our home delivery obligations to you are subject to home delivery remaining commercially feasible in our reasonable opinion. Where we cease to supply home delivery to you, we will discuss with you the way forward. Furness Newspapers Ltd cannot guarantee nor be responsible should a retailer refuse to accept a voucher as payment for the newspaper.

The Newspaper Delivery or Voucher Booklet subscription is for a period of time and not a specified number of newspapers. You will receive newspapers that are published between the beginning and end of this subscription.

Delivery/vouchers may take up to 5 business days to commence. If your subscription terminates, you will also receive any newspapers that are published between the termination date and the lead time required to cease delivery, which may take up to 5 business days.

If you require redirection, please notify us at least 5 business days prior. Redirection will only be possible to areas where a delivery service exists for your subscription.

A subscription with a newspaper element also receives access to our Read & Save membership scheme, allowing savings on high street brands. Terms and conditions of which can be found for each offer on www.readandsave.co.uk

Pricing

The price of the subscription, including where applicable any introductory pricing for a specified period will be displayed at the time of purchase. All prices include VAT unless otherwise specified.

Furness Newspapers Ltd may amend the pricing schedule by giving 10 days prior notice to you. Once new pricing takes effect Furness Newspapers Ltd may alter your automatic payment arrangements accordingly.

Payment, Fees and Taxes

Payment is to be made by the method and frequency selected at the point of order, this will be automatic recurring monthly, quarterly, 6 monthly or annual payments via Direct Debit or debit/credit cards.

Payments are made in advance. Visa and MasterCard credit cards are accepted.

The recurring payment for the amount of the offer you have requested will be automatically charged by Cumbrian Newspapers Ltd in advance, on your selected payment frequency, until such time as we are advised to stop.

Changes to debit/credit card details can be made by contacting Customer Support on 0808 144 8 144 or via the link sent to you prior to your card expiring.

For the purpose of auto-renewing your Subscription, your credit/debit card details are stored in a tokenised, encrypted format.

Auto-renewing subscriptions require payment approximately 10 days prior to the commencement of each billing period. If payment fails, we will attempt to notify you and request that you update your payment details. We will re-attempt payment several times.

If you are under the age of 18 you require consent from your parent or guardian and the card holder to authorise charges to be made.


Suspension

You cannot suspend Digital Subscriptions.

Newspaper Delivery can be suspended online via My Account, by contacting Customer Support on 0808 144 8 144 or by emailing Customer Support at cnsubs@cnmedia.co.uk

Voucher Booklet subscriptions can be suspended by contacting Customer Support on 0808 144 8 144 or by emailing Customer Support at cnsubs@cnmedia.co.uk you will be responsible for returning (at your cost) the unused vouchers for your suspension period.

Please notify us a minimum of 5 business days prior to a suspension. Once the suspension commences, your subscription will be extended by a period of time at least equal to the length of the suspension. You will not be charged for the period of the suspension. You may also at our discretion be able to access the digital/online content during the period of suspension.


Cancellation and Termination

Your Subscription will continue until cancelled by either one of us. Your Subscription may be cancelled at any time by calling Customer Support on 0808 144 8 144 or by emailing Customer Support at cnsubs@cnmedia.co.uk

If you cancel your Subscription before the end of a prepaid subscription period, you will not be entitled to a refund for any unused days.

For offers that consist of both a Digital Subscription and Newspaper Delivery or Voucher Booklet subscription, cancelling of the Digital Subscription component only or the Newspaper Delivery/Voucher Booklet subscription component only is not permitted for these are a combined product package offer.

Furness Newspapers Ltd reserves the right to cancel a Subscription:

· without notice or liability if we reasonably determine you have breached any portion of these terms and conditions, in which instances a refund will not be given;

· if your subscription includes a Newspaper Delivery component and you move to a non-serviceable area, or your address becomes non-serviceable, in any such case you will be entitled to a pro-rata refund for the unused print component and will be moved to a digital only subscription if outside of the newspaper circulation area or a Voucher Booklet subscription is within the circulation area of the newspaper.

Cancellation of your Subscription does not affect your Registered Access (unless that is also cancelled).
