Staff organised five weeks of multi-sport action in the swimming pool, on the tennis courts and outdoors and capped it all with a well-attended finale.
Youngsters aged between five and 11 were able to try out dodgeball, swimming, t-ball, football, tennis and more over the holidays, with organiser Hannah Paling happy to see them all enjoying themselves.
She said: “The activity weeks have gone well.
“We’ve done a real variation of stuff with them and they have been good. We’ve had people who are on holiday taking part and locals as well, so they have been well-attended.
“We ended with a party, with the 20-plus kids who were taking part in the multi-sports.”
She added: “Dodgeball was quite a big hit, and we did t-ball – which is similar to rounders – football, tennis – which a lot of them liked – and a mixture of other sports.
“We’d ask them what they wanted to do and they could go off in small groups to do something before they came back together.”
