MILLOM 48 OLDHAM ST ANNES 0
The visitors showed plenty of guts and determination and held on until the 14th minute when Marcus O’Brien managed to cross the try line, with Adam Kelly kicking the first of six conversions.
Millom, slow to start, picked up their game and started to control and punch holes in the St Annes defence, which resulted in Tom Sibley crashing over next to the sticks.
Warwick Carter broke on the halfway line and drew the full-back to send Johnny Hodgson racing for the line.
Millom showed their class in the second half, running in six tries.
Millom’s man-of-the-match Carter went over the whitewash twice with Chris Warren, Ian Armstrong, Paul Carter and Owen Myers also touching down.
