THE kids ruled the roost at Craven Park as they took over Barrow Raiders’ home for a day of festivals and cup finals.
The Barrow Youth League sides were out in force, with close to 300 children in action across the morning and afternoon.
Youngsters from Askam, Barrow Island, Dalton, Hawcoat Park, Hindpool Tigers, Marsh Hornets, Millom, Ulverston and Walney Central enjoyed their day out.
Under-sevens, under-eights and under-10s teams were the first on the pitch, turning the playing surfaces into a wash of colour as they played each other in a festival format. They were followed on to the field by Walney Central and Barrow Island Under-12s and Dalton and Askam Under-14s for the KO Cup finals.
