Ulverston and District Equine Club host two dog shows a year and their second one of the year was held on Sunday August 30.
The show started at 1pm at Newland Green, just outside Ulverston and there were 20 classes dogs could be entered into.
The classes were: terriers, pastoral, working, toy, hounds, utilty, gundog, best mixed breed, prettiest bitch, most handsome dog, puppy under one year, rescue dog, junior handler, brace (pair of dogs), veteran, dog most like owner, best trick, waggiest tail, fancy dress, agility, and champion of champions.
Paulyn Whetstone who owns dog grooming business, Scruffy to Fluffy in Barrow is on the committee of the Ulverston and District Equine Club.
She helps organise the dog shows every year and was really happy with the turn out on Sunday.
She said: "The day was absolutely brilliant. We had lots of different classes including novelty classes like fancy dress.
"The dogs looked fantastic and they were all really well behaved, it was also really nice to see the kids interacting with all the dogs."
The classes were judged by Kate Hornby, a vet from Alexander Vets in Barrow.
Mrs Whetstone added: "The dog show is a local event and Kate is a local vet so this was something she really wanted to get involved with."
