TWO women have been assaulted outside a pub in Ulverston.
Cumbria Police are appealing for witnesses in relation to an assault which occurred in Ulverston last night.
Two women were left with visible injuries after being assaulted at the back of the Sun Inn on Market Street.
The incident occurred between midnight and 1am.
Police arrested a man and a woman at the scene and they are helping police with their inquires.
Anyone who witnessed the assault or has information regarding the incident is asked to contact Barrow CID on 101 or alternatively ring Crime Stoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
