DOG owners and their canine buddies are in for a treat this bank holiday weekend.
Gleaston Village Dog Show is this Saturday on Gleaston Village Green or in the village hall if wet.
There are 15 breed and novelty classes.
The day will begin at 11am with a Barrow-in-Furness Dog Agility Club display. The dog show starts at 12pm.
Ulverston and District Equine Club will host its dog show on Sunday at Newland Green, Newland.
The show starts at 1pm. The classes will be; terriers, pastoral, working, toy, hounds, utilty, gundog, best mixed breed, prettiest bitch, most handsome dog, puppy under one year, rescue dog, junior handler (dogs to be handled by children aged five to 16), brace (pair of dogs), veteran, dog most like owner, best trick, waggiest tail, fancy dress, agility, and champion of champions.
Dog owners and their pets can win rosettes and prizes at both events.
