THE M6 between junctions 36 and 37 has reopened following an earlier crash.
Police were called at 1.17pm to reports of a four-vehicle collision on the northbound carriageway.
Two of the drivers suffered serious injuries and have been taken to hospital.
All lanes are now open on both the north and southbound sides.
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the incident.
