FIREFIGHTERS raced to assist with an incident of flooding at a celebrated hotel.
At around 03.51 this morning, fire crews were sent to tackle a flood that occurred at the Daffodil Hotel and Spa in Grasmere.
The hotel, which is situated in Keswick Road, lies right on the shore of the waters in Grasmere.
Firefighters were called to pump flood water from the entrance of the hotel using a light portable pump and two main pumps.
