The traditional event, set in the heart of beautiful South Lakeland, has been described as “The most comprehensive and picturesque show in the North”.
Now in its 132nd year, the Cartmel Show is always a firm favourite with both visitors and locals over the years.
It is always held on the first Wednesday in August, offers a profusion of family entertainment packed into the picturesque parkland setting at Cartmel Racecourse and has its roots firmly within the agricultural community.
Today is expected to be as busy as ever with people traveling from the county and across the UK to the event.
