Police tape
POLICE are appealing for information after a woman was assaulted by an offender wearing dark clothing in Barrow.
The female victim sustained injuries to her head and a black eye after she was attacked in an alleyway to the rear of Ferry Road on Thursday October 1.
The incident took place at around 11pm.
Anyone with information about this incident or who may have witnessed the assault should ring Cumbria police 101.
