A TOWN centre shop door was smashed in during a burglary.
Police are investigating the incident which occurred at 3am on Thursday July 30 at the EE shop on Portland Walk in Barrow.
The front door was smashed with half of a drain cover and a white Samsung Galaxy S5 was stolen.
The alarms went off and disturbed the offender or offenders.
A figure was seen in dark clothing but police are unsure whether or not the intruder worked alone.
The offender or offenders then left Portland Walk via Dalton Road in the direction of School Street.
