THIS Furness teen knows his Zeus from his Poseidon – what less would you expect from the model who stars as Greek demigod, Percy Jackson? 

Robert Collins features on covers of the bestselling Percy Jackson books about a hero who is the descendant of a Greek god. 

The series of novels have been made into blockbuster films. 

On portraying the character, the 16-year-old from Barrow, said: “I’m used to it now, but it was really was strange at first going past Waterstone’s and seeing myself on a poster.” 

The Chetwynde School student said: “I haven’t read the books, but I have seen the films, and I’ve also studied classical studies at school.” 

In fact, the Percy Jackson model has just achieved an A* in the subject which covers ancient Greece and Greek mythology. 

He also gained a further six As and six Bs in his GCSEs this summer. 

The Italian-born teenager has been modelling since he was three-months-old and has been on the books of Boss Model Management since 2011. 

Robert said: “It is something very different, and I really enjoy it.” 

As well as modelling clothing for the likes of Canterbury and Gola, the teen has also appeared on TV as an extra in 1930s drama, South Riding. 

The student, who will be starting his A-Level programme this month, is also a musician. 

He has achieved grade eight in singing, grade seven in speech and drama, grade six on piano. 

But the teen, who turns out for Swarthmoor Football Club, is very interested in the sciences and is considering studying to become an optician.

He also has a part-time job as an optical assistant at Specsavers in Barrow.
