Rapper Snoop Dogg has had a brush with the law on his way to Kendal Calling.
It is the second time he's been in hot water in a week - this time as he was trying to board a plane on his way to the UK for his Kendal Calling gig with almost half a million dollars in cash, apparently in breach of EU cash restrictions.
Snoop was stopped by customs at Italy's Lamezia Terme Airport in Calabria carrying $422,000 (£270,000), well over the legal limit.
Travellers are allowed to carry up to €10,000 (roughly £7,000) in undeclared cash across European Union borders.
Andrea Parisi, a lawyer representing the artist, told Reuters: "We clarified everything from a legal point of view. The money came from concerts he had performed around Europe. There was no crime; it was just an administrative infraction."
Snoop performed in Calabria on Friday night and is due at Kendal Calling Festival this evening (Sunday) when he will perform on the main stage.
Kendal Calling organisers are understood to be monitoring the situation.
Last weekend Snoop was questioned and tested in Sweden on suspicion of drug use.
