THE ambulance service which covers Cumbria has received high praise from patients in its latest NHS Friends and Family Test results.
The North West Ambulance Service found that 95 per cent of those it has helped would recommend its Patient Transport Service to their loved ones.
Sarah Faulkner, trust director of quality said: “Considering the relatively large number of responses for the PTS service, it’s great to see NWAS featuring so highly at 95 per cent compared to other ambulance services nationally.
“I would like to thank all those who took the test and encourage as many patients as possible to let us know what they think when they use the service in the future.”
