Police tape
POLICE are investigating a report of assault in a club.
The incident occurred in Broadway Club in Cavendish Street in Barrow at around 2am on Saturday October 3.
A male was punched once to the face causing significant injuries needing stitches and hospital treatment.
The incident is said to have happened inside Broadway Club at the bottom of the stairs.
The assault is believed to have been an unprovoked attack. Police are appealing for anyone with information to contact Cumbria police on 101.
