POLICE have issued a warning after a quantity of methadone was lost in Cumbria.
Police have been informed that a 60mg bottle of methadone was lost in Carlisle on Saturday. Methadone is used as a substitute drug in the treatment of morphine and heroin addiction.
The medication was lost somewhere between Central Avenue, and an address on Tindale Drive.
Police are urging anyone who may find medication that does not belong to them to take it to their nearest police station or pharmacy.
