FIREFIGHTERS raced to extinguish a fire at a house in Barrow.
Crews were called at around 04.36 this morning to attend to a fire at a home in Ainslie Street in Barrow.
A fire engine from Walney arrived at the property to extinguish a blaze in the living room of the house.
Firefighters used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to bring the fire under control.
Crews were at the scene for around 90 minutes.
