Last month, councillors asked for more information before reaching a conclusion on the application to knock down Cemetery Cottages, in Ormsgill, Barrow, and build eight semi-detached houses.
The controversial application was scheduled to go back before Barrow Borough Council’s planning committee when it met in Barrow Town Hall this afternoon.
Planning officer Barry Jesson has recommended the 12-person committee, which will visit the Schneider Road site earlier in the afternoon, to grant outline planning permission. The application has prompted a number of objections.
