CUMBRIA police are seeking witnesses after a car crashed through a fence.
On the unclassified road next to the Newby Bridge Halt on the Lakeside and Haverthwaite railway, an unknown vehicle has crashed through the fence and down the embankment of the rail way bridge.
The incident occurred some time overnight between Sunday August 30 and Saturday August 31.
Police are appealing for witnesses with any information to contact Cumbria police on 101 and ask for PC John Reed.
